Ben Craig | The Learning Curve

"‘The Learning Curve’ is a ten meter long spiral of over 400 unique 3D printed forms inspired by microscopic organisms and cellular biology. The forms evolve from simple to complex shapes through a translucent spectrum of blue, green, yellow, orange and red. The colourful helix is suspended within the three story high atrium space of the Wellcome-Wolfson Institute for Experimental Medicine. The multitude of differing perspectives, the spectacle of detail and colour and the use of 3D printing resonates the function of the building as a space for experimentation and innovation."
